Thirty years ago, a dream took root with the purchase of a single quarter of ground. At the time, it was a simple vision: a place to hunt deer and pheasants, a patch of land where nature and tradition could live side by side. But that first piece of land sparked something greater.
Over the years, trees were planted, native grasses restored, and food plots carefully tended. Seasons came and went, and what started as open ground slowly transformed into a thriving wildlife haven. Friends and family gathered there, sharing laughter around campfires, walking the fields together, and building memories that would last a lifetime.
The joy of those moments planted a new idea: if this land could bring so much happiness to those closest, why not open it to others who shared the same passion for the outdoors?
Today, that dream has grown into 650 acres of contiguous ground known as Bachelor Creek Reserve. What began with one quarter section of land has become a sanctuary — a place where like-minded people can come together to enjoy the beauty of nature, experience the thrill of the hunt, and create friendships as enduring as the land itself.
Bachelor Creek Reserve is more than just a place to hunt. It’s a legacy — a place where memories are made, traditions are carried on, and hunting stories will be told for generations to come.
